La Manga

La Manga is between "The Mar Menor" (inland sea) and "The Mediterranean sea" the Mar Menor is a warm calm sea and has many beautiful beaches where families enjoy the many benefits of Spain's best kept secret.

Golf courses at La Manga are reputed to be the best in Europe, as are the many watersports, i.e. windsurfing, scuba diving, and sailing.

La Manga is an astonishingly beautiful natural strip of land that runs from the mainland out into the Mediterranean sea to create the "mar Menor".

You have the choice to spend your time on the Mediterranean beaches or the Mar Menor beaches. Evenings are warm and wonderful. eating out is one of the most pleasurable experiences here, there are many restaurants that serve fresh fish caught on the day in the "Mar Menor".

In the centre of the inland sea are three islands, and one of the islands has a magnificent seafood restaurant that can only be reached by boat, this is not a problem as charter boats go there daily.

There is also a small beach towards the end of the strip where you will find a beach bar that pulls in their nets every morning and what they catch is on the days menu, you can sit and enjoy fresh sea Bass or grilled sardines with a glass of wine or a cool beer for just a few pounds.

You can visit the "Tomas Maestro harbour" and find many bars and restaurants and see the many sailing boats and huge sea going motor yachts arriving and leaving.

There is so much to see and do at La Manga, this is an exotic part of Spain Where the Spanish look across to La Manga from the Mainland and say "my dream is to live there".
